The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Dr. Muiz Banire, as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria. The confirmation took place during plenary today Wednesday October 10th.
President Buhari nominated Banire for the position of Chairman of AMCON in July 2018. Banire was a former Commissioner in Lagos state and also a one-time legal adviser of APC.
